Not only does she have Pierce, but she has good speed and amazing power. Not only does she have Pierce as a Status Caster, but she has two moves that apply it while dealing damage, meaning that Pierce can easily be maintained throughout the battle without needing to set it up. Spekthra is a fantastic Magic attacker/curser and the first Corrupted to use the dreadful Pierce.
It's a somewhat situational item, so it's generally best to ignore it, but it might be handy depending on what character you picked. However, the Firebolt Scarf completely invalidates critical hit damage boosts, like Loupes for Weakness (strangely, Monocle still works), and the buff is only ever applied after at least one hit has already happened, meaning most extreme damage builds made to one-shot enormous enemies will no longer work at all, now that the potential to crit is lost. This item is good for characters with lower critical hit rates like Akaisha, due to the fact that they now get boosted damage after the rare crits and get more value off of them than they usually would due to their low frequency, and it allows separate entities that cannot deal critical hits but benefit from your damage stat like Le Soleil to get heavily increased damage. The buff is applied after the crit, meaning the crit that originally triggered the buff will remain unaffected by it. Landing another crit will reset the effect's duration.
However, landing a crit now boosts the player's damage stat by 50% for the next 4 seconds. While the scarf is on, the player's crit multiplier is reduced to 1.0x, causing crits to no longer deal extra damage.
While this item is equipped, your character wears this scarf around their neck. The Firebolt Scarf is an item in Otherworld Legends.
